3rd September 2024

This year, we are thrilled with the successful production of our own locally harvested honey at three of our holiday parks. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and enhancing the guest experience by bringing the best of nature right to our parks. This home generated honey not only offers a unique taste of the local area but also reflects our commitment to supporting the environment.

Borders Hideaway, The Glen and Riverbend, have been 'buzzing' with activity, as our hardworking bees have been busy producing fresh, delicious honey that we are proud to offer exclusively to our holiday home purchasers in their Welcome packs, with any surplus made available for sale through the park reception - while stocks last.

In addition, this honey is a key ingredient in our signature ‘Hillandale Gin,’ giving our locally produced spirit a unique and natural flavour.

The introduction of beehives is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a healthy environment. Bees play a crucial role in pollinating plants, and by supporting these vital pollinators, we are contributing to the health of local ecosystems. The diverse flora around our parks not only provides our bees with the resources they need but also enhances the beauty of the landscapes for our guests to enjoy.

It's a great way to enjoy a taste of the local area and support our environmental initiatives!
